Having a baby is the most ardent wish of a couple whose love is so passionate and fusional, because it is the best thing that can happen to us in this world. However, it is very difficult for the mother to give birth, and for both parents to raise and care for him properly.
But what is exhausting for some parents is almost impossible for Sheree
Psaila. This young woman of 22 was born with congenital multiple
arthrogryposis disease. This disease causes stiffness in his joints and
prevents him from building muscle tone in his arms and legs. When she was
born, the doctors even told her parents that she probably would not survive
more than a year.
A determined woman against everything!
Against all odds of doctors who did not give her more years to live, Sheree
managed to overcome all obstacles.
After a series of operations, the doctors are both surprised and happy to
announce that the girl will finally survive but will remain in a wheelchair all her life.
However, Sheree is what is called a fighter, and once again, she gave the
doctors trouble to walk. At the age of five, she takes her first steps and
launches into an extraordinary battle against her illness in order to live a
"normal" life.
Time passes, she goes back to school, college, high school
where she graduated brilliantly and embarks on a degree in engineering at the
university.
This is where she meets Chris, a young man who understands what the girl is going through as she herself has a congenital disease in the spine. Sheree and Chris fall in love and get married in 2015. Both have the same wish: to found a family.
Nine months after their marriage, Sheree is unfortunately miscarried. Once again, doctors tell her bad news, letting her know that it is unlikely that she will ever be able to carry a child again. But, as she was able to do in the past, Sheree immediately told herself that she would do everything to have a child with her husband.
She gives birth to a miraculous baby, while no one around believed it:
After her miscarriage, Sheree managed to get pregnant again. The doctors were pessimistic that the girl was only 1m22 tall, so she was too small for the child to develop in her.
But luckily for her, the pregnancy went smoothly. Little Hayden is born after a cesarean section. He is a healthy 2.49 kg boy with no signs of any congenital illness.
Difficulties to raise the child:
Sheree becomes aware of the difficult role of mother. She is struggling to take her son in his arms because of his illness. "Sometimes when he's crying, I have to wait for someone to put him in my arms to comfort him," she says.
Fortunately for her, Chris and a home help support her and help her on a daily basis. The little family radiates happiness.
Sheree and Chris are wonderful parents who live the parenting experience like all other couples. Their illness does not prevent them from tasting happiness and raising their child as best they can!
