Here's how to prepare your own anti-eczema cream

The word eczema itself does not sound right. It comes from a Greek word meaning effervescence, bubble or overflow.

In the same way, the 30 million people who, according to the Eczema Foundation, suffer from it, know how disruptive this affection can be. Rather than using steroid creams, you can prepare homemade natural creams to treat the condition.

Home made anti-eczema cream:

One of the key ingredients of this cream is lavender essential oil, which helps heal red and dry skin associated with eczema. Another important ingredient is raw shea butter, which is full of vitamin A, and acts as an anti-inflammatory against many skin conditions.

Ingredients:

½ cup of raw shea butter

½ cup of coconut oil

1 tablespoon of honey

30 drops of lavender essential oil

8 drops of tea tree essential oil

Instructions :

Using a bain-marie or something similar, melt the shea butter and coconut oil until they are well combined. Then add the honey and continue stirring.

Once everything has melted and is well mixed, add the lavender and tea tree oils. Mix again, then let the ingredients cool slightly so that the mixture can begin to thicken. You can put the solution in the fridge for a few minutes to speed up this process, but not for long. It should not be hard enough.

Using your blender, mix for several minutes until the mixture has a sparkling appearance, possibly developing the consistency of the lotion. You can do this by continuing to mix about every 10 minutes.

Transfer to a mason jar or other container and store at room temperature or in the refrigerator. The cream will stay a little softer at room temperature, which can facilitate its application.
