Better Together: skin care products that work better with each other without causing side effects!

In beauty care, cosmetics are increasingly feared because of their side effects. That's why many people are now turning to natural alternatives.

So for those who continue to use cosmetics, there are at least some of the ingredients whose combinations are safe and effective. You can use them safely without fear of side effects.

Dull and lackluster complexion:

There are days, be it because of stress, lack of sleep, inadequate water consumption or bad skin care habits, where our skin needs a boost. If returning to a regular skincare routine can be enough, adding active ingredients can revitalize and give a boost to your skin's health.

"For dull skin, a combination of glycolic acid and vitamin C can leave the skin smooth and refreshed," reports Marina Peredo, MD, a dermatologist in New York. "Glycolic acid exfoliates dead skin cells, and vitamin C helps clear skin."

If you do not regularly incorporate these ingredients into your routine of care, an easy and inexpensive solution to this problem is to rub them gently. Active ingredients to revitalize your complexion. Exfoliate gently once or twice a week to remove dead skin and reveal a natural glow.

Skin prone to acne or blemishes:

If rashes appear here or there or never seem to disappear from your skin, a mixture of ingredients recommended by dermatologists can not only treat existing pimples, but also prevent them.

"Acne is multifactorial," says Kimberly Jerdan, MD, a cosmetic dermatologist. "Not only do you need to fight bacteria, but you must also normalize skin cell renewal. For that, she recommends combining benzoyl peroxide and retinoid, and applying this mixture on the skin to combat stubborn eruptions.

Hyperpigmentation:

If a uniform skin tone is your skin goal, it may be that your dermatologist has already recommended you to use a lightening agent called hydroquinone.

"Hydroquinone is an organic compound used to correct hyperpigmentation, but it must be used under the supervision of your dermatologist," Dr. Peredo recommends. Pairing this lightener with a daily SPF will not only help treat existing spots, but also protect your skin from dark spots.
