Spices scientifically approved to prevent and treat cancer!


  

Believe it or not, but all you need to prevent or treat cancer is in your spice cabinet.

 

More than just dried seeds, fruits, roots, barks or any other herbal substance that adds flavor to our food, they also serve as cancer-fighting agents. Spices to prevent and treat cancer:

More than 180 compounds derived from spices have been identified and scientifically explored for their health benefits. From this study, it appears that a selection of spices can prevent the multiplication of malignant cells in the body that gradually become insurmountable cancer cells. It is :

 

1. Allspice:


The allspice, also known as "allspice", is not a mixture of spices as some believe, but it comes from the unripe dried berries of the tree "Pimenta dioica". Allspice contains a multitude of potential bioactive agents that can contribute to the promotion of health, including flavonoids, phenolic acids, catechins and several phenylpropanoids.

 

The anticancer properties of allspice may be partly attributable to its ability to influence cytochrome P450 (CYP) activity and thus influence the bioactivation of carcinogens.

 

2. Basilisk:


Basil (Ocimum basilicum) is a culinary plant featured in the kitchens of Italy and Southeast Asia. While many varieties of basil exist, basil is one of the most prevalent and most commonly tested herbs for its health benefits.

The antioxidant, antimutagenic, antitumorigenic, antiviral and antibacterial properties of basil probably come from various components, including linalool, 1,8-cineole, estragole and eugenol.

 

There is evidence that basil can decrease induced carcinogenesis.

Administration of 150 to 300 mg / kg of basil extract to Swiss mice reduced DMBA-induced skin tumors (12.5% reduction and 18.75% reduction for lower doses, respectively) and reduces the tumor burden per mouse.

 

Compared with the average number of tumors per mouse in the controls, the tumor weight was approximately 2.4-fold lower in the low-basil group and 4.6-fold lower in the high-dose basil group.

 

3. Turmeric:


The active ingredient of turmeric, curcumin, inhibits inflammatory reactions, has antidiabetic effects, reduces cholesterol and other powerful health effects. A new study conducted by a research team at the Ludwig Maximilians-Universitat (LMU) in Munich now shows that it can also inhibit the formation of metastases.

 

It's the king of spices when it comes to treating cancerous diseases. Turmeric contains the potent polyphenol Curcumin that has been clinically proven to delay the growth of cancer cells causing prostate cancer, melanoma, breast cancer, brain tumor, pancreatic cancer and leukemia and others.

 

4. Cumin:


Cumin (Cuminum cyminum) is a flowering plant belonging to the family Apiaceae and is native to the Eastern Mediterranean region and India. Thymoquinone (TQ) is the most abundant component of black cumin seed oil. TQ has been reported to have antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties.

 

Considerable evidence also indicates TQ's ability to stop the proliferation of tumor cells, including colorectal carcinoma, breast adenocarcinoma, osteosarcoma, ovarian carcinoma, myeloblastic leukemia and pancreatic carcinoma.
