A gynecologist reveals why women should stop wearing underwear!

It has probably happened to you sometimes to wear underwear, perhaps for lack of time, or even voluntarily to avoid marks and lines they leave on the body.

A gynecologist named Donnica Moore encourages this habit, she explains why women should stop wearing underwear.

Against wearing underwear:

Whatever the reason, Donnica Moore, a gynecologist from New Jersey suggests that women should not wear underwear. According to her, it's a good thing for sexual health.

"It's not good to have private parts always locked up," she told the Sun. They

(the private parts) also need air like all other parts of the body.

Wearing panties day and night causes heat and sweat to accumulate in this area, increasing your risk of yeast or other types of dangerous infections, she explained. In addition, the material that makes up your lingerie is also likely to increase your risk of infection.

Lycra and lace or other non-breathable materials are the worst because they can irritate the delicate skin around your vagina. Cotton is your best option if you absolutely can not skip on underwear.

Other health professionals also support Dr. Moore's comments:

Dr. Vanessa Mackay, spokesperson for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, agrees with Donnica Moore. She states that "Wearing underwear at any time, can lead to irritation and friction.

"Especially for women who have reached menopause because they have thinner skin in the area, and are therefore more susceptible to irritation and friction."

"Sleeping without underwear can be beneficial for women with vaginitis, which is an inflammation of the vagina, and those who suffer from candidiasis, a common yeast infection."

"The thrush grows in hot, damp parts of the body, so to avoid this, tight undergarments or tights can help prevent infection."

The signs that you may be suffering from thrush include itching, pain during sex, and a tingling sensation when you pee.

Those who are suffering for the first time, pregnant women and those who have had two flare-ups within six months should talk to their doctor.

For women who have vaginitis, wearing cotton underwear or not even wearing underwear while sleeping, can improve the condition.
