Toothache can vary widely, from mild pain to an unbearable nagging pain in your teeth or around your jaws.
Toothache occurs when the central region of the tooth, called the pulp, becomes irritated or inflamed. The pulp is composed of several very sensitive nerve endings. The pulp can become inflamed or irritated for many reasons. If you have a toothache, it is best to immediately consult a dentist before the problem gets worse. You can also try natural remedies to relieve the pain temporarily.
1. Pepper and salt:
Salt mixed with pepper can be very useful when a tooth becomes extremely sensitive because both ingredients have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Instructions :
Mix equal amounts of pepper and common salt with a few drops of water to form a paste. Apply the paste directly to the affected tooth and allow it to work for a few minutes. Do this once a day for several days.
2. Garlic:
The use of garlic can also provide immense relief from toothaches. Garlic has antibiotic and medicinal properties that can be very effective in reducing pain.
Instructions :
Mix a crushed garlic clove (or garlic powder) with table salt or black salt and apply it directly to the affected tooth to relieve the pain. If you prefer, you can chew one or two cloves of garlic for relief. Repeat this natural treatment for a few days.
3. Cloves:
Cloves have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and anesthetic properties that help relieve tooth pain and fight infections.
Instructions :
Grind two whole pods. Mix with a little olive oil or vegetable oil and apply the mixture to the affected tooth. Another option is to dab a cotton ball in clove oil and rub it directly on the sore tooth. Or, you can mix a few drops of clove oil in half a glass of water and use it as a mouthwash.
4. Onion:
Onions have antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that control toothaches. It can relieve pain by killing the germs that cause an infection.
Instructions :
At the first sign of toothache, chew raw onion for a few minutes to relieve the pain. If you can not chew it, place a piece of raw onion on the wrong tooth and let it work.
