Homemade remedies to counter the problems of vertigo!

We all already know what dizziness is, it's a kind of feeling of imbalance that gives the impression that you are spinning or even falling. Being able to be itself a symptom of other health conditions, dizziness may be accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of balance, tinnitus, temporary hearing loss and others.

In some cases, dizziness will improve on its own over a period of time. You can also try exercises like Epley Maneuver and other home remedies to help you get better. We present you some of these remedies.

1. Epley Maneuver:

The Epley maneuver can be very beneficial in the treatment of vertigo, especially benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), without serious adverse effects. Follow the instructions below:

Sit on a bed and place a pillow behind you so that it is under your shoulders as you lie down. If your vertigo is on the left side, turn your head 45 degrees to the left. (If it's right, turn your head 45 degrees to the right and follow the rest of the procedure accordingly.)

Lie down quickly with your shoulders on the pillow and head resting on the bed for about 30 seconds. Then, without lifting your head, turn it 90 degrees to the right and wait another 30 seconds.

Now, while keeping your head in its current position, quickly turn your entire body 90 degrees to the right and stay in that position for 30 seconds. Then, sit down slowly, bringing your head to the center. Repeat this procedure three times a day.

2. Ginger:

Ginger can help fight against vertigo because it promotes blood circulation to the brain and also relieves nausea. A study of the reducing effects of ginger vertigo has also helped relieve related problems such as motion sickness and migraines.

Simply chewing a piece of ginger on a regular basis can help alleviate this problem. Alternatively, you can also prepare ginger tea by infusing a teaspoon of grated ginger into a cup of boiling water for about five minutes, then filter. You can sweeten it with honey. Drink this infusion twice a day.
